With Black Sails in the Sunset come two somewhat drastic changes to the band. To an extent, they're very much related. The first change is one to the composition of the group. The departure of Mark Stophlese finds AFI with a new guitarist, by the name of Jade Puget. You may recognise his name from such albums as Answer That and Stay Fashionable, Very Proud of Ya and Shut Your Mouth and Open Your Eyes. How? Backing vocals.
